Samsung Prepares For Launch As Galaxy Z Fold 4 Clears FCC

The launch of Samsung’s eagerly anticipated fourth-generation foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4, is quickly approaching. The pair is anticipated to make their public debut in the second week of August. The Korean company holds the FCC certificate for the former in readiness for that. The FCC should also approve the clamshell foldable soon.

The GalaxyZ Fold 4, whose model number is SM-F936U, has been certified as certified by the FCC. The records don’t add anything to what has already been revealed in the avalanche of leaks over the previous few months. There are mentions of Bluetooth, UWB (ultra-wideband), 6GHz Wi-Fi, 5G cellular connectivity, and wireless power transfer.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 schematics are also included in the docs. However, they don’t seem to correctly depict the device’s size and shape, especially when it’s unfolded. The device is depicted as being tall and slim, defying all leaks and reports that suggested a foldable that was more square-shaped. However, the schematics effectively communicate the location of the mmWave antennas, which is what they are intended to achieve. Untrained eyes may find it difficult for mmWave signals to pass obstructions. Therefore, producers must thoughtfully position them in their products.

However, this certification is yet another sign that Samsung is getting close to announcing the availability of its newest foldables. On August 10, it is rumored that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will become official. Along with the two foldables, the Galaxy Watch 5 series and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro TWS earbuds should be available.

A LOT OF UPGRADES WILL BE INCLUDED IN GALAXY Z FOLD 4. As previously said, there have been numerous leaks about the Galaxy Z Fold 4. About the next Samsung foldable, pretty much all you need to know is already known. Along with enhanced internals, a more robust and comfortable build is what we can anticipate. There is a lot to discuss here, from a flexible screen that is more scratch-resistant and a better hinge to more potent cameras and a lighter shell.

Everything that has so far been leaked about the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is available in our preview here. Any additional details that become available before Samsung formally introduces the phone will be added to the article on a regular basis. Keep an eye out for a company announcement regarding the debut of the devices. The forthcoming Galaxy Unpacked may take place offline.
