Exclusive reactions and stickers are added to Telegram through the “Premium” subscription, however the pricing is not known.

Currently only available on iOS, the well-known messaging software Telegram is working on a Premium subscription that will offer additional, exclusive reactions and stickers.

The most recent iOS beta version of Telegram (8.7.2) has shown the first indication of Telegram Premium, which appears to be primarily focused on enlarged reactions and stickers that aren’t available in the app’s free format. This feature is highlighted as on an unofficial Telegram Beta channel in the screenshot below.

The majority of Telegram users’ responses to the subscription were unfavorable, as was to be expected.

While the price of Telegram Premium is presently unknown, there are some suggestions as to how the subscription would operate. In a brief demonstration shown below, reactions resemble the larger emoji that Telegram recently launched, but also include features that Telegram hasn’t made accessible to free users. When someone clicks on a sticker received by someone utilizing the subscription, they don’t see the reaction or sticker but rather a prompt to sign up for the subscription model.

Additionally, as shown in the image below, we had access to Telegram Premium reactions.

We still don’t know a much about this functionality, though. Uncertainty surrounds the monthly pricing as well as the availability of features other than fresh stickers and reactions.

We may also see a unique avatar creator, at least in the macOS version of Telegram, if one Redditor is to be believed, as the people at Android Police emphasized. But it’s not yet clear if that function will be included by the Premium membership.
