Updates for several Tizen smartwatches and the Galaxy Watch 4’s plugins are released by Samsung.

If you have a Samsung Galaxy smartwatch, you probably need an update. For the Galaxy Watch 4 and various other Galaxy Watch models, Samsung has provided plugin updates this week.

Updates for the Galaxy Wearable plugin have been made available by Samsung for some of its most recent Galaxy Watch models, as noted by the people at SamMobile . The majority of Samsung’s accessories work with the Galaxy Wearable app, however each one needs a plugin to create a connection with the phone.

With regard to three of its devices, specifically the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 2 Active, and Galaxy Watch 3, Samsung has upgraded the apps. The updates consist of:

Plugin for the Galaxy Watch 4: 2.2.11.22071151 plugin for the Galaxy Watch 3: 2.2.09.22071141N plugin versions 2.2.08.22071151 and 2.2.08.22071141N for the Galaxy Watch Active 2 Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t provided any additional details on the issues that the plugin upgrades are intended to solve. With the recent app crashes, the Galaxy Watch 4, and the upcoming One UI Watch 4.5 upgrade, there must surely be some work to be done.

Whatever the case, it’s always encouraging to see Samsung improving their smartwatches, especially the more basic designs. These upgrades are now being distributed via the Galaxy Store and Play Store.
