You may now launch straight into a filter with Google Lens.

Google has updated Lens to allow users to activate a specific filter immediately, in advance of anticipated announcements later this month.

Since last year, you arrive at a three-part screen when you use Google Lens from the Search bar or on an Android device. Your eight most recent Screenshots are displayed in the gallery view below, and then all of your Images are displayed in a grid.

You can use your camera to search in the interim by tapping or swiping down. Recently, Google put a carousel of Lens filters right here. By tapping one, the visual search tool will be immediately configured to that feature. To view a description of what each filter does, swipe.

This is quicker than the old option, in which Google Lens would always launch Search before allowing users to hone their search.
Today, Google Lens may be launched to a specific filter on both Android and iOS.

Later this month, Google is anticipated to reveal new Lens features at Search On 2022. Multisearch, a feature previously teased for visual search, makes advantage of MUM (Multitask Unified Model) to support more sophisticated queries, such as taking a picture of broken bicycle gears and requesting repair instructions. Scene exploration, which allows you to search what you are now viewing, was showcased at I/O in May.
