You can search for and purchase railway tickets using Google, and buses will soon be available.

Today, Google is introducing an trio of updates to its travel-related features and offerings, starting with the availability of rail ticket shopping within Search.

For instance, a Trains to Vienna module with a departure date and time picker will appear when you search for trains from Berlin to Vienna. This list specifies the agency, departure and arrival times, and if a direct route or transfers are necessary. Additionally, Google will provide Low Prices with a tap that includes a direct booking link to the partner website.

It will debut today in a few nations, including Germany, Spain, Italy, and Japan. As we collaborate with other rail suppliers, Google Search will spread to additional places. Additionally, we’re shortly going to test a bus ticket option for intercity travel.

Google Flights will soon have a new emissions filter that gives you the option to select simply from Low or Any emissions. When compared to similar vacations, this is the norm. It combines comparable initiatives for eco-friendly routing and EV optimization in Google Maps.

There is now an Eco-certified filter for hotels on google.com/travel. To start importing their databases of eco-certified hotels, Google is collaborating directly with the U.S. Green Building Council (known for LEED ratings) and the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
