Xiaomi has begun distributing Android 13 beta for its 12 and 12 Pro models.

Although Android 13 has only recently been made available for Pixel smartphones, it appears that other brands won’t be long in releasing the update. Xiaomi just released the Android 13 beta.

The MIUI 13 beta for two smartphones, which is based on Android 13 and was announced on the Xiaomi Community site , is now accessible.

Owners of the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro will be able to test out the restricted beta on worldwide smartphones. The update’s version numbers are V13.0.4.0.TLCMIXM for the Xiaomi 12 and V13.0.4.0.TLBMIXM for the 12 Pro. The upgrade is almost 4GB in size. Additionally, Xiaomi cautions customers that the beta update may cause overheating and other performance difficulties.

Unfortunately, this beta program is now first-come, first-served. Only 200 individuals would have access in the initial wave, Xiaomi stated on Twitter . The Mi Pilot beta testing program will include those users, and this build is considered beta stable.

What has MIUI 13 added? In this post, specifically, Xiaomi doesn’t provide much insight, but the business does have an Xiaomi Community site 0 setup to tease the new version. According to Xiaomi, Android 13 has been fine-tuned on every level, including enhancements to background operations. According to reports, efficiency in that region has increased by 40%.
