With the May security patch, Samsung is releasing yet another new update for the Galaxy Watch 4.

Samsung has recently published another new update for the Galaxy Watch 4 that includes the May 2022 security patch in addition to other changes, keeping with their unofficial pattern of issuing one update nearly every month.

As of May 3, the Galaxy Watch 4 in all of its variations will start to roll out in the US and some other regions . The support for the May 2022 security patch on the Galaxy Watch 4 as opposed to the March patch that debuted with the April update is the most noticeable change we can observe right away.

As usual, Samsung’s changelog for the upgrade is quite brief. The business explains:

higher system dependability and stability Application of stabilization codes for watch operation. In essence, it seems that Samsung has focused on eradicating minor issues and enhancing overall performance, with no discernible substantial changes. The Watch 4 is still using Android 11 and Wear OS 3.2.

The update, which has the version number R860XXU1FVD4, was only available for the smaller Galaxy Watch 4 on Samsung’s website , but SamMobile users believe it is also coming out for the larger devices.
