Wi-Fi 6E, a higher price, and no point unit are revealed in Google Nest Wifi Pro leaks.

A new Wi-Fi 6 router that Google was developing, about which we wrote in June, has suddenly surfaced as the Nest Wifi Pro.

Just over a month ago, this product was approved by the FCC, and now Bandamp;H is selling it under the name Google Nest Wifi Pro 6E Router. The product page confirms the use of Wi-Fi 6E, which is the most recent connectivity standard and can reach a maximum speed of 9.6Gbps under perfect circumstances. The name is apparently just Google Nest Wifi Pro. In addition:

The use of a third bandwidth range, generally between 6 GHz and 7 GHz, is the primary distinction between Wi-Fi 6 and 6E. Generally speaking, the potential speed of your home or workplace network shouldn’t be directly impacted by Wi-Fi 6E. Instead, the 6 GHz band is often less busy, which means there is less risk of interference between home devices.

A single Nest Wifi Pro router costs costs $199 , $169 for 2019 Nest Wifi router , and $99.99 for the relaunched Google Wifi in 2020, respectively. The current Nest router offers Wi-Fi 5 with speeds of up to 2.2Gbps.

The Nest Wifi Pro is available in Snow (white), Linen (light brown), Fog (light blue), and Lemongrass (light yellow/green), with a 2-pack costing $299.99 and 3-pack costing $399.99. Recent items including the Pixel Buds Pro, Nest Doorbell (battery), and the future Pixel 7 are compatible with this hue. We are unaware of any additional details on the physical layout.

A point, a network extender and Google Assistant speaker, isn’t included in any of the listings. This represents a return to the single-device Google Wifi approach. The cost difference with this single-hardware strategy is comparable to the current Nest Wifi router and point combo ($269), while an additional point raises the price to $349. Each device also features an Ethernet jack.

The Pro naming convention, which includes the Pixel 6 and 7 Pro as well as Pixel Buds Pro, suggests that the current Nest Wifi will remain in place.

It’s obvious that this listing was posted before it was ready, and Bandamp;H lists Google’s Nest Wifi Pro as a New Item Coming Soon. It is anticipated to be unveiled on October 6 at the Made by Google event alongside the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro and the Pixel Watch. In addition to the second-generation Nest Doorbell (wired) that we leaked last week, Google claimed to expect Nest hardware at this event.
