To Google Stadia, Jackbox Party Pack 9 is forthcoming.

The most recent version of the game, Jackbox Party Pack 9, is expected to come on Google Stadia. This is another new release from the Jackbox library.

Party Pack 9 will be available on Stadia this fall, Jackbox Games formally announced on its website this week. The r/Stadia subreddit is where we first saw the mention. The game will go to Amazon Lunas Jackbox subscription channel in addition to Stadia.

The following platforms, as well as Apple TV/iPad, the Mac App Store, Amazon Fire TV, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna, will receive it this fall.

The fact that Jackbox joined Stadia earlier this year with Party Packs 6, 7, and 8 means that this is not a great surprise. Still, it’s good to see the game come out because, lately, successors to games that are already available on Stadia—like the NBA 2K series, Madden 23, and others—haven’t been coming to Google’s platform.

It’s also a fantastic choice for anyone who want to play Jackbox from a distance. As Google demonstrated last week with one of the games already available, screen sharing using services like Zoom or Discord has been popular with Jackbox, particularly over the pandemic. However, Stadia’s new Party Stream feature offers an even easier way to play the game with others.

When Jackbox Party Pack 9 launches on Google Stadia and other platforms, it will have five new games. The fourth iteration of the series’ renowned Figgbage game is on the new list, along with Quixort, Junktopia, Nonsensory, and Roomerang.

Party Pack 9 has yet to have a specific release date.
