Three Ubisoft mobile games, including Assassin’s Creed, are being prepared for Netflix in 2023.

Netflix has been following through on its aspirations to enter the mobile gaming market. With that, Netflix and Ubisoft jointly announced plans to create mobile versions of three well-known titles.

Early in 2022, Netflix launched a new service that allowed paying customers to utilize their account to access a huge selection of mobile games without paying any additional fees. Anybody could play the mobile games Netflix collaborated with developers to release under its brand as often as they wanted as long as they had an active Netflix membership. They didn’t have commercials or any pay-to-win gimmicks attached.

Netflix is now partnering with Ubisoft will introduce several well-known games to the mobile market as a way to grow on it. These games include variations of Assassins Creed, Valiant Hearts, and Mighty Quest. These releases will adhere to the same guidelines as other Netflix productions without additional fees or advertisements.

Netflix assures consumers that these games will be carefully made, even though for others the first thing that comes to mind is a mobile port. The same team will be working on the Valiant Hearts mobile game, which will borrow elements from the desktop version while guiding you through a fresh narrative.

According to Netflix, the new version of Mighty Quest for mobile devices will be more of a hack-and-slash game that is conducive to repeated play. What Ubisoft and Netflix intend to achieve with Assassins Creed in the new mobile game is unclear.

In addition to the previously announced live-action series, a whole new mobile game is being created specifically for Netflix, allowing Assassins Creed fans to fully immerse themselves in the Assassins Creed universe.

The target year of 2023 is the only release information we are aware of. There isn’t much information available beyond that, so we’ll probably have to wait till the production picks up speed before learning more specific information. In either case, a Netflix and Ubisoft relationship in the gaming industry would have some interesting outcomes.

With the corporation posting numerous job titles that may result in a well-rounded team of cloud gaming developers, Netflix is also said to be working on a push into the cloud gaming industry. 2023 seems like a reasonable estimate for that initiative as well, while there is no deadline for that either.
