The XMAGE cameras-equipped global Huawei Mate 50 Pro was announced.

In China earlier this month, Huawei unveiled the Mate 50 Pro, its latest flagship. As Huawei announced, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro would be released globally today.

It resembles the Chinese model quite closely in terms of both design and specifications. However, there are a few variations. The satellite texting capability, which is currently only available in China, is not included in this version.

A new global Huawei P50 Pro model with an EMUI and a tof 3D camera has been announced. Software also differs between the two models; the Chinese model comes with Harmony OS, while the American model has EMUI. When it comes to Huawei products, there will always be a difference, but that difference is to be expected.

It has “ROCK-SOLID KUNLUN GLASS” and “SPACE RING DESIGN.” Huawei refers to the Mate 50 Pro’s design as its “symmetrical Space Ring Design.” The display is curved, and the “rock-solid Kunlun Glass” is placed on top of the display. According to Huawei, this glass increases drop resistance by ten times.

In addition, Huawei’s XMage cameras included the industry’s first 10-scale adjustable physical aperture. The Ultra Aperture XMAGE camera system on the back of the device is one of its most intriguing features. You will receive the first physical aperture with a 10-scale adjustment. That has never been observed on a phone. Additionally, Huawei’s free-form lenses and other standard pieces of technology are included in the package.

IT SUPPORTS 66W CHARGING AND HAS IP68 CERTIFICATION. The phone has EMUI 13 pre-installed and is IP68 certified for water and dust protection. Of course, the bundle does not include Google services, but Huawei’s (HMS) are already installed. The phone has a 4,700mAh battery inside, and 66W Huawei SuperCharge cable charging is also supported. The phone also has 50W wireless charging capabilities (also Huawei SuperCharge).

A 13-megapixel ultrawide angle camera (f/2.4), a 3D ToF camera, and a gesture sensor are all located on the front of the device.
