The Tensor G2 Is Front and Center With The Google Pixel 7 Pro

A 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.85 aperture and the capacity to record 4K films at up to 60 frames per second serves as the focal point of the triple-lens array. It benefits from a 48 megapixel telephoto camera with optical stabilization that offers 5x optical zoom and up to 30x Super Res Zoom. Google equipped the Pixel 7 Pro with a 12-megapixel camera for taking ultrawide photos.

Software gimmicks include customizable white balance adjustment, an upgraded magic eraser, Macro Focus employing the zoom camera, and, of course, a better night sight that will now produce results twice as quickly thanks to the updated Tensor G2 ISP. Based on a 4nm technology, the Tensor G2 uses Titan M2 security co-processors with 2 2 4 clusters.

Along with timelapse in 4K and astrophotography modes, the primary camera is also capable of recording 10-bit HDR videos with cinematic blur and pan effects. The Pixel 7 Pro has a 10.8-megapixel front camera with 4K 60fps video recording capabilities for selfies and video calls. It’s comforting to know that Google will provide the Pixel 7 Pro with software upgrades for five years.

5G is responsible for handling cellular communication, in both mmWave and sub-6 GHz varieties. NFC, Google Cast, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2 complete the wireless connectivity suite. The face unlock feature can also serve as an authentication method in addition to the fingerprint sensor that is located beneath the display. Interestingly, Google will only provide a 2-year warranty for the new flagship in the EU and Australia, while the rest of the world (including the US) will only receive a 1-year warranty.
