The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered OnePlus 10T will debut on August 3.

The OnePlus 10T is set to launch on August 3 at a live event in New York City’s Gotham Hall, despite bypassing the T-series in late 2021.

The OnePlus 10T is scheduled for an onstage presentation at a special launch event that will take place from the impressive Gotham Hall in New York’s Midtown neighborhood after a few years of livestreamed keynotes. The OnePlus 7T series was introduced in 2019, making this the first live keynote since then.

The 10T will come with the most recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which will replace the one present in the company’s current flagship, the OnePlus 10 Pro, according to OnePlus. This more advanced mobile CPU reportedly performs noticeably better than its predecessor and is 10% faster. A 30% increase in CPU power efficiency and a corresponding 30% decrease in GPU power are present. Another enhancement is the up to 20% greater performance per watt that the 7th Gen Qualcomm AI Engine offers.

OnePlus 10T launch

Previous 3D renderings give the impression that the OnePlus 10T would debut with a flat display and a familiar design featuring a huge wraparound camera system. According to reports, the OnePlus 10T will have a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with an FHD resolution. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, although reports suggest that when it is released, it will have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

At the OnePlus 10T launch speech, OxygenOS 13 will also be discussed, and more details about a potential Open Beta are likely to be anticipated. The OnePlus 10 Pro is the only device that can currently run Android 13 Beta.
