The Pixel 6 with Pixel Pass is something that Google Store really wants you to get.

The Google Store is now making sure potential Pixel 6 purchasers are aware of it before checking out. The Pixel Pass is Google’s hardware and software subscription.

Instead of the normal configurator, hitting the blue Buy button on the Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro listing in the US now directs you to a page called “Choose a way to buy” (carrier, color, storage, trade-in, and protection).

This brand-new intermediate page contrasts purchasing a Phone simply versus a Phone with Pixel Pass. There is a list of what is included in addition to mentioning how much money you will save.

Prior to this, Pixel Pass could only be purchased or subscribed to through its own listing . Back in April, the subscription was featured prominently on the Google Store homepage; today, it is positioned right after phones in the main product carousel.

Select will allow you to finish your purchase, but it’s an intriguing growth strategy on the part of the business. Google has not made public the number of members to Pixel Pass since the debut of the Pixel 6 like it does with phone sales.

It could gain momentum with the imminent Pixel 6a launch, which the company has stated will be subscription-only since May. With the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, a worldwide expansion is potentially on the horizon.
