It is hardly surprising that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is headed in the same direction after the Galaxy Z Flip 3 achieved such great success. Here is the information you need to know about the Flip 4, which is now available with two significant changes and the same pricing.
As Samsung’s second folding form factor, the Galaxy Z Flip series features a clamshell design that functions very similarly to a conventional flip phone while concealing a full modern smartphone inside. That same pattern is followed by the Galaxy Z Flip 4 , but with several excellent improvements.
In terms of hardware, the Flip 4 has a design that is largely similar to the Flip 3, with a few significant enhancements.
The Flip 4 should fit in tight locations even better than its predecessor because it is shorter and slimmer when closed. Additionally, the device has flatter sides, which are pleasing to the eye and to hold. Glass that is matte is also used for all basic colors. The Flip 4 will be available this year in Blue, Graphite, Pink Gold, and Bora Purple. Additionally, Samsung is bringing back its Bespoke Edition, which comes in up to 75 different color combinations, including red, green, and white.

There are no changes to the Flip 4’s outside display. For the time, alerts, some widgets, and quick selfies, the same 1.9-inch panel is used. The option to shoot Portrait photos and optimization for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp are two additions to Quick Shot this year. A new FlexCam mode is also available.
On the interior, the Flip 4 retains a 6.7-inch 120Hz display covered by ultrathin glass, so the story remains basically the same. Samsung does assert that this year’s inner glass is stronger.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8GB of RAM, and either 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage power the Galaxy Z Flip 4. One UI 4.1.1 for Android 12 is preinstalled on devices. The Flip 4 will receive major Android upgrades for up to four years and security patches for up to five years, just like other Samsung smartphones.

Returning to the cameras, a similar 12MP main and 12MP ultrawide configuration is present here, along with a 10MP selfie camera built into the screen. The main sensor, however, has been improved and can now catch 65% more light.
However, the battery section receives by far the most improvement. The battery capacity of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has increased by 400 mAh from the Flip 3 to 3,700 mAh. This should significantly increase the endurance, and the increased 25W wired charging speed will result in a quicker recharge. According to Samsung, consumers can anticipate a 50% improvement in that time. The maximum wireless charging power is still 15W.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 lands at $999 will cost the same as the Flip 3 at the same price. Pre-orders for all colors and storage capacities are already being accepted for the phone, which goes on sale on August 26. There is an exclusively from Samsung.com Bespoke Edition available.
