The enormously affordable Android phones REVVL 6 and REVVL 6 Pro from T-Mobile start at $170.

Budget Android phones are plentiful, but T-own Mobile’s REVVL series has shown to be at least passable and even very popular over the previous several years. The REVVL 6 series, which are incredibly large cellphones, are available this week from T-Mobile.

The T-Mobile REVVL 6 is the entry-level model in the carrier’s new lineup, and it comes with a very typical bundle for a low-cost Android phone on the market right now.

The MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, 6.52-inch HD display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, fingerprint sensor, and 4,500 mAh battery with 15W fast charging are all features of the $169.99 REVVL 6. The phone comes pre-installed with Android 12 and should receive at least mediocre support for a couple of years, possibly including a major update or, more likely, a few security patches. If you’re in the market, don’t expect much because you’re essentially getting what you pay for and T-Mobile isn’t making any promises, but you do get what you pay for.

Three back cameras, including a 13MP primary camera and two 2MP sensors for ultrawide and depth imaging, round out the REVVL 6’s feature set. Up front, there is a 5MP camera.

The T-Mobile REVVL 6 Pro, on the other hand, is a gadget that stands out a little bit more. It has essentially the same core specifications, but with a small improvement. The battery capacity increases to 5,000 mAh along with the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that are combined with the Dimensity 700 chip. A 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide, two additional 2MP cameras, and a 16MP selfie camera are also included in the camera array.

The size of the phone itself, however, is the main point of interest. The 6.82-inch display of the T-Mobile REVVL 6 Pro will be available. Simply said, that is enormous. For comparison, that is larger than the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is renowned for being among the largest smartphones available right now thanks to its 6.8-inch display. With physical dimensions of 173.92 x 77.8 x 8.99mm, the REVVL 6 Pro is likewise significantly larger than the S22 Ultra. Dimensions of the S22 Ultra are 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9 mm.

At $219, the REVVL 6 Pro appears to be the best value of the two, but our concerns about upcoming software updates remain the same. When adding a new line to the majority of plans, T-Mobile will give you any phone for free with bill credits. Otherwise, the Pro costs $9.17 a month over 24 months, while the REVVL 6 costs $7.09 per month.
