The addition of anonymous questions and poll responses to Google Meet

Google is continuing to add more enterprise-focused capabilities to Meet while the Duo migration is under progress. Participants in Google Meet can submit anonymous questions and poll responses using the latest .

The information is kept private from other attendees, the meeting hosts, and your Google Workspace Admin when a user answers a poll or posts a question anonymously. Please be aware that Google keeps track of your poll answers and private inquiries. Later, this data is destroyed or made anonymous.

This has been a popular request that is targeted at huge calls, claims Google. Its goal is to increase involvement from meeting participants who would rather remain anonymous. It also works well to maintain privacy during public gatherings.

Meeting hosts can disable anonymous questions by selecting Meeting Activities andgt; Allow Questions in Qandamp;A andgt; Disable Anonymous Questions. In the meanwhile, anonymous polls are by default disabled but can be enabled by toggling a switch during the creation process.

Every meeting causes a reset of these settings. In Google Meet, anonymous polls and questions are currently being tested and will be widely available in the upcoming weeks. The following is available:
