Support for Samsung’s Expert RAW camera software is added to the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Just in time for tomorrow’s official release of the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Samsung has added functionality for the foldable to its Expert RAW camera software.

Samsung Expert RAW 2.0.00.3 is currently being distributed and includes support for the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

The Expert RAW app gives customers additional control over the camera experience on their handset, which was formally released earlier this year on several Galaxy smartphones. In essence, the software gives users complete manual control over their camera settings, including ISO, focus, shutter speed, and others. For editing, it even connects straight to Adobe Lightroom.

While the majority of people will typically prefer using the default camera app, Expert RAW provides a useful additional degree of control. But only some gadgets support it. Samsung also brought Expert RAW to the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S20 Ultra, and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra prior to the release of the Fold 4. Also supported is the Galaxy Z Fold 3 from last year.

Support for Custom Presets is also added in the most recent release. Instead of having to manually enter the adjustments, users may now choose from a variety of unique settings and save those settings for use in a subsequent shoot. The performance in low light should be significantly improved, according to Samsung.

The New

A current list of the supported models (Galaxy Z Fold4) Enhancements to Custom Preset Images’ low-light quality are now supported. Although the Galaxy Z Fold 4 doesn’t officially go on sale until tomorrow, August 26, pre-orders have already started to arrive for many buyers. Download Expert RAW right away from the Galaxy Store if you already own a Fold 4.
