Source: The Galaxy Watch 5 comes in a variety of colors, and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will cost $230.

In two weeks, Samsung Unpacked will be here, and we’re all excited to see what surprises Samsung has in store for us. As well as the upcoming Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Samsung is also preparing the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will cost $229.99, according to a retail source. This costs $80 more than the current Galaxy Buds 2 and $30 more than the original Galaxy Buds Pro.

While we are unaware of all the improvements Samsung is making to the earbuds, one of our sources did inform us that 24-bit audio will be added. While that does sound fantastic, for the end user it is not realistically going to make a difference outside of a placebo.

The colors that are available for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro have also been confirmed by our source. While the 44mm model will be offered in blue, gray, and silver, the 40mm Galaxy Watch 5 will come in gold, gray, and silver. On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will come in black and gray.

The $200 Pixel Buds Pro, which go on sale tomorrow, will likely be the major rival to the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Both products are the premium earphones offered by their respective businesses, and they both feature ANC, multidevice connection, and transparency mode. We’ll have to see how these earbuds stack up against the Apple AirPods Pro, which offer the same functionality along with an industry-leading transparency mode and active noise cancelling. Although they are normally $250, AirPods Pro are frequently discounted to closer to $180 .

We will have to wait till the release of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro to learn how they compare to the competition. Samsung has a solid reputation when it comes to earbuds, but we’ll have to wait and see how the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro perform after their announcement at Samsung Unpacked .
