Sony Reduces the Release Date for PlayStation VR2

Sony announced Twitter and Instagram in a somewhat cryptic way, just stating that they would be available “early in 2023.” Even while it would be pointless to try to predict the exact release date at this time, it seems reasonable to infer that we’re looking at the first quarter of 2023, or at the very least, the start of the second quarter of 2023. Given how near that is, we anticipate Sony to announce a debut date shortly—possibly even this year.

Sony has been doing a terrific job teasing players about the upcoming release by occasionally revealing little facts. The business recently offered a demonstration and an inside peek at what wearing the headset will be like. The games that will be made accessible have also been extensively discussed, including “Horizon: Call of the Mountain” as a PS VR2 exclusive. The PlayStation VR version of “No Man’s Sky” and a game from the “Walking Dead” series are among the other games that Sony teases on the official website for the new virtual reality gear.

The cost of the game may have many gamers scratching their heads as we wait for the official release date. Though Sony has been silent on the matter, it’s important to note that the PS VR2 will only function with the PlayStation 5 system. This implies that if you don’t already own a PS5, you may need to start looking for one because supply are still rather limited, though Sony assures us that better times are coming.
