The Galaxy M13 and M13 5G have been quietly introduced by Samsung in India, adding another another cost-effective gadget to the line’s expanding M-series there.
The pair has surfaced on the Samsung India website (h/t SamMobile ), and each device has certain distinguishing features. However, there are probably many things here that would interest individuals looking to buy a new device on a tight budget.
Let’s start with the more cheap variant, the Galaxy M13. It has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD resolution and a maximum brightness of 480 nits. Additionally, the screen should be protected with a Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The Exynos 850 processor is used internally, coupled with 4 or 6 GB of RAM, 64 or 128 GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It has a huge 6,000mAh battery and supports 15W charging rates. A 50-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultrawide, and a 2-megapixel depth camera are located at the back of the device. The display has a dewdrop notch that houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
In comparison, the Galaxy M13 5G has a little smaller 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a lesser HD resolution. It does include a 400-nit maximum brightness limit, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a protective Gorilla Glass 3 coating.
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, 4 or 6 GB of RAM, 64 or 128 GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot are all included in this 5G-capable smartphone. A 5,000mAh battery with 15W cable charging capabilities is available. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also included for wired audio compatibility.
The Android 12.0 operating system that comes preinstalled on the Galaxy M13 and M13 5G has a ton of new features, including RAM Plus, Smart Widgets, Object remover, and many others. There are no specifics about the duo’s update timetable on Samsung’s website.
The starting price for the 4GB/64GB Galaxy M13 is 11,999, while the pricing for the 6GB/128GB model is 13,999. The starting price for the Galaxy M13 5G is 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB model and 15,999 for the 6GB/128GB version. Three color options—Aqua Green, Midnight Blue, and Stardust Brown—will be offered for both phones.
