When it was revealed that Glass and Larc are Heroes from the same home-world as Naofumi Fan Hero, the previous season came to a dramatic conclusion. Fighting the two, Naofumi was able to pin Glass down and get him drunk. Naofumi muses over the other Heroes’ efforts to save the world before she leaves. The first season ended with Naofumi and the other Heroes vowing to get stronger in order to take down Naofumi as they watched the reconstruction of Raphtalia’s hamlet.

Officially, we don’t have any information, but according to sources by the Anime News Network, two more seasons are expected to air back-to-back. The second season of The Rising of the Shield Hero was supposed to be released in 2020, but Covid-19 prevented that from happening.
