Today was the formal release of the Nothing Phone (1) after weeks of intense teasing and leaks. We already covered its introduction in a different article, but we’re here to explain more about its features.

A MID-RANGE SOC IS ONE OF THE SPECIFICATIONS OF THE NOTHING PHONE (1). The Snapdragon 778G SoC powers the Nothing Phone (1). That CPU is Qualcomm’s mid-range model. Depending on the model you pick, that SoC is paired with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

At 1,200 nits of peak brightness, its display does get rather bright. Additionally, the display supports adaptable refresh rates since it can alternate between 60 and 120Hz. There is also a 240Hz touch sampling rate available. By the way, this display is flat.
Advertisement CAMERA MODES AND THREE CAMERAS ARE INCLUDED IN THE DEVICE. How are the cameras doing? There are actually three of them, with two of them being on the back. A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera (Samsungs JN1 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, EIS, 114-degree FoV, macro 4cm) supports a 50-megapixel primary camera (Sonys IMX766 sensor, f/1.88 aperture, 1um pixel size, 24mm focal length, OIS, EIS). On the front, there is a single 16-megapixel camera (Sonys IMX471 sensor, f/2.45 aperture, 1/3.1 sensor size).
You may use a ton of different camera modes in this situation. Including Document, Night, Extreme, Panoramic, Slo-Mo (120 fps), and Time-Lapse modes. Both Live Photo and Scene Detection are available as well. This camera can record video in 1080p and 4K (30 fps) (30 or 60 fps).
It supports 15W wireless charging and 33W wired charging. Included is a 4,500mAh battery that enables 33W PD3.0 wired charging. But keep in mind that the charger is not included. Dual charging is enabled for 15W Qi wireless charging as well. On the Nothing Phone, you can also use 5W reverse wireless charging (1).
