Unfortunately, finding a suitable case for Google’s Pixel 6 series is not easy. Fortunately, one of our favorites, Pela, is growing its selection and getting ready for the mid-range Pixel 6a.
Early on in the year, Pela stepped on board to support the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, and it even directly sells some of its cases in the Google Store. Options were, however, quite constrained when the instances first came out, eventually expanding as we’ve just discussed.
This week, Pela gradually increased the number of design possibilities for its Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro cases, bringing the total to around 60. A few animal- and retro-themed patterns are among the most recent additions. It’s a huge improvement over the few hues that were offered at launch.
Prices stay the same at about $60 per, but the product is also marketed as having a compostable case.

Additionally, Pela is now offering cases for the next Google Pixel 6a. The average price of the cases is $60, but there is a significant selection of styles with more than two dozen alternatives presently available on the website.
There’s a possibility that you’ll receive a case from Pela before you even have the chance to order your Pixel 6a next week. Pixel 6a cases are currently shipping.




In our review of Pelas cases for the Pixel 6 Pro from last year, we referred to them as one of the best substitutes for Google’s fabric cases. We concluded:
To cut a long story short: I still want Google to bring back the fabric cases, but until they do, Pela is my go-to replacement since, unlike most other cases I’ve tested, it’s soft and gripping.
