Oxenfree has been added to Netflix’s list of mobile games.

One of the best narrative adventure games on mobile, Oxenfree, is now available on Netflix. Narrative games can be among the best gaming experiences you have. Last week, Netflix made the official announcement that this game would be included in its library of apps. Interestingly, the game’s original listing has been removed, and it is now listed as the “Netflix Edition.”

Like previous Netflix games, Oxenfree may still be directly downloaded from the Play Store. However, as of right moment, only the Netflix Edition is accessible, therefore a Netflix subscription is required to see it. Having said that, not a lot has been altered in this version. But there is one significant adjustment. Additionally, it’s a positive change.

The main modification is that the game now supports localization thanks to the Netflix Edition’s availability. Consequently, more players will be able to enjoy the game in their own language.

Advertisement With the game’s September 24 release, according to Netflix, in-game subtitles will be offered in more than 30 different languages. The Netflix Edition is the only one to receive this feature update. Therefore, if you haven’t tried it yet, this is a fantastic opportunity to do so. Particularly if you wanted to see it with subtitles in your own language.

Arabic, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Spanish (Latam), Spanish (Spain), Swedish, Turkish, Ukranian, and Vietnamese are among the languages that are covered.

If you don’t want subtitles, you can also opt to have the audio language set to one of these languages. In terms of narrative-driven games, we personally favor subtitles. But it’s entirely up to you. The fact that all these languages are now available and more people can play the game is really what matters.
