Multiple photographs and videos can now be sent simultaneously via Google Chat.

In November, the final Hangouts client (web) will stop functioning, and Google will thereafter be fully committed to Chat. Multiple photographs and videos can be sent at once using Google Chat’s most recent improvements.

You may choose up to 20 photographs and videos to transmit all at once with the Google Chat media picker, which is available today on iOS and rolling out now on Android. You can rapidly remove particular things before sending. Before, you could only send one photo at a time through a laborious process.

The web app has not yet support multi-send, however the iOS unified Gmail app and standalone client do.

After the function launched for English in 2019, Google Chat on the web has now has support for Smart Reply recommendations in Spanish, French, and Portuguese.

In addition, Google Meet for iOS and Android now supports multi-pinning after becoming live on the web in June. For interpreters and group presentations, you can keep up to three video tiles fixed on your screen. Google also highlights enhancements to picture-in-picture for mobile apps.
