Another round of hands-on images of the Google Pixel 7 Pro have surfaced online. The latest leak was provided by the same source who previously made important phone specifications public. The source has a prototype device that Google has remotely bricked. However, they continued to share the device’s design with the world before the phone’s official introduction.
Of course, the Pixel 7 Pro has been in the news a lot lately. There isn’t much left to learn about the design and specifications. However, the most recent leak allows us to see that camera bridge on the back of the phone once more, in addition to the rest of it. The hardware buttons, holes, and ports are visible, as well as the locations of the cameras. There are also visible antenna lines.
The upper recessed section is for the mmWave antenna, the source adds. Compared to low- and mid-band signals, superfast mmWave signals have a harder time passing through obstructions. Therefore, phone manufacturers make sure that the mmWave antennas are not obstructed by the metal frame or even the user’s hands when holding the phone.

But a lot has already been disclosed by this source. The new Samsung-made display will continue to be featured on the Google phone. It is an improved panel from the one in the Pixel 6 Pro, though. The renders below show how the screen is curved on all four sides.
It’s also possible that the package will include an improved haptic feedback system. The haptic chip in the new model, the Cirrus Logic CS40L26, should be a generation more recent than the Cirrus Logic CS40L25 found in the model from the previous year. Additionally, the Pixel 7 Pro changes to a new NFC chip devoid of UWB (ultra-wideband) capabilities. But that doesn’t always imply the phone won’t support UWB at all. Google will handle this functions with a separate chip.
Another development from 2021 is the second-gen Tensor chip. Similar to its predecessor, this chip will have a 2 2 4 CPU core configuration. The four Cortex-A55 low-power cores and the two Cortex-X1 large cores might also remain unaltered. However, Google will probably improve the original Tensor’s two Cortex-A76 mid-cores to Cortex-A78.
