Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are set to launch in only two weeks, but recent developments suggest that the foldables may come with a somewhat higher price tag.
A store in Europe uploaded the Galaxy Z Fold 4 early this week, providing us a preview of the device’s price. The error, which is shown as 1,863 for the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s 256GB base model and 1,981 for the 512GB variant, was discovered by GizPaw .
These price tags are not in the format that we are accustomed to seeing, but that could be because the postings are new. It matters what those price tags actually mean, which most likely equals 1,849 and 1,999 for the two variations.
If that figure is accurate, Samsung will have raised the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 by about $100 from its beginning price of $1,799 in Europe last year. Given that Samsung had already lowered the price of the Fold 3 in an effort to make the product more affordable, it is undoubtedly shocking. The majority of people do not anticipate an increasing price as foldable technology develops.
However, it appears that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will have the similar improvement after the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is reportedly priced higher than the Flip 3 in Europe, according to information released by Pricebaba last week. The Flip 4 will start at $1,080, with the 256GB model costing $1,160, and the 512GB tier costing $1,280, according to the report. That represents a modest increase over the 1,049 beginning price from the previous year.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, redesigned hinge designs, and less obvious display creases are anticipated for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4, as well as new color options and improved battery life on the Flip 4.
On August 10, Samsung will formally unveil the Flip 4 and Fold 4, along with AAA in credit toward your purchase.
