The long-awaited zombie role-playing game Dead Island 2 is official and is coming to Google Stadia, according to aa1 as part of Gamescom 2022.
Dead Island 2 will debut on PC (Epic Games exclusively), PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X/Series S, and Google Stadia on February 3, 2023. The game, a sequel to the 2011 smash hit Dead Island, is set in Los Angeles and has six playable characters.
Despite being bitten and infected, you are immune and stronger as a result. Discover the truth about the outbreak, about who or what you are, and how to live as you paint LA red with the insides of countless zombie foes. Learn how to control the virus that is rushing through your veins. You must slice, pulverize, and smash your way through the city of Angels’ ghastly streets, eliminating any zombie obstructions. No big deal, but your contaminated hands hold the future of the city and all of humanity.
Dead Island 2 was initially announced back in 2014, however it has been repeatedly postponed due to studio sales and other problems. Currently, Deep Silvers Dambuster Studios is in charge of the game.
While Dead Island 2 does support Amazon’s Alexa Voice Control, which can respond to voice requests to switch weapons, discover locations, or even engage with opponents, it doesn’t currently appear that the game has any Stadia-specific capabilities. Two-player co-op is another aspect of the game.
The game is currently not available for pre-order on Stadia, although pre-orders are already available for other platforms.
