Google announces a hardware event for the Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch on October 6th.

Google said this morning that its Pixel hardware presentation will take place on Thursday, October 6.

At I/O 2022 in May, Google has teased the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro as well as the Pixel Watch. These goods, features, costs, and availability will all be covered in full detail at the future event. There is a tagline that highlights the ecosystem of items and says, “It’s all coming together this fall.”

On October 6 at 10 a.m. ET, there will be a webcast for online viewers while the company holds an event in Brooklyn. After two years of virtual announcements in 2020 (Launch Night In) and 2021, this is Made by Google’s first physical appearance ( Pixel Fall Event ).

The hardware of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro is already well known, but as always, the real question is what fresh, AI-supported software features Google has created for the phones.

In the aforementioned video, the Pixel 7 Pro gets an intriguing new appearance. When viewed head-on, the cameras are highly conspicuous, with the telephoto lens clearly visible inside the circular lens and an ultrawide ring surrounding it.

Google hasn’t really demonstrated Wear OS 3 for the Pixel Watch in the meantime. The Montblanc Summit 3 gives a better understanding of the UI, thus it will undoubtedly be more stock than Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 5. It may also only be what is accessible in the emulator. Also unknown are the cross-device features that will link the experiences of phones and wearables.

It is uncertain whether Google will make any other hardware announcements at the event. A new Nest WiFi with 6E and Chromecast HD are said to be non-Pixel gadgets.
