With the popularity of video conferencing growing, Google is promoting Meet more and more throughout its products. With a dedicated Meet tab and the ability to swiftly place and receive calls inside the app, Gmail for Android and iOS is adding .

Access the Settings from the hamburger menu in the top-left corner of your inbox, press on your account, scroll down, and uncheck Meet if you don’t want Meet to show up as a tab in the Gmail client.
Over the upcoming weeks, Gmail for Android and iOS will gradually roll out the Meet tab.
