Finally, OnePlus 8 and 8T models on T-Mobile receive Android 12.

Android 12 began rolling out to unlocked OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro models in March. Users of the OnePlus 8 and 8T on T-Mobile had to wait even longer because those models are only now running Android 12 starting to get .

The rollout of Android 12 to T-Mobile OnePlus 8 and 8T variants has begun. The update is being rolled out in stages over the air, or OTA. Depending on the circumstances, you can receive the update right away or within a few days. It might take some time. Please take note that the July 2022 security update is also included in this release.

Some of you are aware that OxygenOS 12—the platform on which Android 12 is based—brings a number of modifications. Google made a number of changes, and OnePlus incorporated those changes as well as many others into OxygenOS 12.

Additionally, DYNAMIC COLOR THEMING IS INCLUDED. The dynamic color theming that comes with Android 12 is a tweak that many people appear to be interested in. The phone will be able to choose colors from your wallpaper and modify the user interface (UI) accordingly.

You will also receive a new privacy dashboard, which will improve your security and privacy, among other things. Please be aware that the update is fairly hefty for both devices, weighing in at over 4GB in both cases. So, before downloading it, make sure your device is linked to WiFi.

Although the OnePlus 8 and 8T are not the company’s most recent models, it is always encouraging to see upgrades for slightly more seasoned devices. Although Android 12 was delayed for these T-Mobile models, it is now available, hopefully without any big problems.
