Emoji reactions will now be supported in posts on Google Stadia’s Explore social network, adding a new feature.
Google confirmed October’s Stadia Pro portfolio, a few new games, and formally announced support for 1440p, which began rolling out last week, as part of its bi-weekly This Week on Stadia roundup update. In addition to all of that, the business also disclosed a new Stadia function.
Emoji reactions can now be used on particular posts in the Explore page of the Stadia mobile app. A thumbs-up, clapping, laughing, and other reactions are examples of this. The person who posted the screenshot or recording can see who commented on it.
We’re happy to announce that while utilizing the Explore tab on a mobile device, Stadia users can now respond to posts and view other people’s comments to their own posts by using various emoji.
In order to allow gamers to share their captures with others on the site, Stadia first implemented the Explore tab in 2021. Additionally, the function enables Stadia’s capability to allow players enter a certain section of a game based on the screenshot or recording they just saw. Google refers to this function as State Share.
