Discord, a popular messaging service among gamers, is getting a complete makeover on Android with the intention of releasing new features at the same rate as other platforms.
Discord announced today that Discord for Android is getting a significant update in a blog post . The redesigned app won’t have a different look; instead, it was constructed on top of the React Native framework to increase the frequency and caliber of updates.
For users, what does this mean?
In other words, new features for Discord for Android should be added more frequently than they are for iOS and PC apps, not days or even weeks later. Users should notice the redesigned server roles and updated fonts as the first improvements. The new typeface will be available to current users via an in-app option, according to Discord. Users who install the app for the first time will be welcomed with a larger font within the app that is more compatible with iOS.
