Before launch, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 have cleared yet another regulatory hurdle.

The regulatory permissions for Samsung’s future foldables are being obtained quickly. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 received the FCC certification earlier this week. After a few days, Thailand’s NBTC has now approved both new foldables (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission). These changes suggest that the gadgets’ release is imminent.

NBTC CERTIFICATION IS RECEIVED BY GALAXY Z FOLD 4 AND FLIP 4. The next Samsung foldables with model numbers SM-F936B and SM-F721B, as well as their respective marketing names Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, have received certification from NBTC. While the latter does not, the former is listed as supporting dual SIMs. There has 5G cellular connectivity on both variants.

Aside from this accreditation, not much else is known about the folding pair. But during the past six months, both of them have been the target of numerous leaks that have left little to the imagination. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 recently showed up in Geekbench as well, as noticed by MySmartPrice . The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and 12GB of RAM were confirmed. There will apparently be 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of storage options. The phone will come pre-installed with Android 12 and most likely have Samsung’s One UI 4.1.1 on top.

Advertisement The Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have a 6.2-inch cover display in addition to an inside 7.6-inch folding AMOLED screen. The refresh rate for both panels should be 120Hz. Some of the improvements the phone will bring over the 2021 model include a better design, a more sturdy structure, and a newer camera.

Numerous improvements will also be included in the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The main draws are anticipated to be larger batteries, quicker charging, and improved cameras. It will also gain a larger 2.1-inch cover display, but the 6.7-inch internal folding display won’t change. On both panels, Samsung would provide a 120Hz refresh rate. The processor and software for the future clamshell foldable should be the same as those for the Fold variant. But with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, RAM might reach its maximum at 8GB.

SAMSUNG IS GETTING READY TO RELEASE ITS 2022 FOLDABLES The launch dates for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 have not yet been disclosed by Samsung. However, recent events imply that we aren’t too far away at this point. Perhaps there are reports that the business will reveal its fourth-generation foldables on August 10 at a Galaxy Unpacked event. It is expected that the Galaxy Watch 5 series and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro would be present at the offline event. As soon as the Korean behemoth issues an official statement, we’ll let you know.
