The introduction of Material You, a one-step switch to style your entire phone, from accents to apps, all depending on your wallpaper, came with Android 12. However, you now have access to Repainter for free, which can let you create bespoke looks for Material You colors.
If you haven’t heard of Repainter, we’ve previously covered it on 9to5Google; but, for those who haven’t, here is a brief summary. Repainter can alter the appearance of Material You colors on your device using features in Android 12 across Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, and other Android handsets running the OS. This might be as easy as choosing the accent colors you like by hand or modifying the saturation and vibrancy of colors in programs. We have really loved this amazing service.
Repainter is now removing its payment obligation. Repainter’s most recent release now enables anyone to experiment with unique Material You colors for Android 12 and Android 13 without requiring a payment at least initially.
Repainter’s new freemium pricing scheme is intended to aid in the app’s continued development.
Starting today, new users who download Repainter will receive three days of free full access to the software. Following the trial period, the app will cost $3.99 in the US each year or $9.99 for lifetime access. If you already own Repainter, you will always have Pro access.
Repainter is introducing a new pricing structure along with the capacity to design, save, and distribute unique themes with other app users. There are now more than 300 themes that are available for preview online .
