Along with the Tab S9 series, Samsung is speculated to release a foldable Android tablet.

Samsung is rumored to be intending to introduce a foldable Android tablet sooner rather than later since Android tablets are receiving some love and foldables continue to gain popularity.

Samsung intends to release a foldable Android tablet in the first half of 2023, according to lanzuk on Naver . Along with the Galaxy Tab S9 series, which is most likely to debut with the Galaxy S23 series, the tablet would be released.

Following the Galaxy Fold-type, which was originally released in 2019, and the Galaxy Z Flip-type, which was first introduced in 2020, this upcoming foldable Android tablet would be Samsung’s third form factor for foldables.

A rumor surfaced in early 2021 that Samsung was developing a Galaxy Z Fold Tab with a double-folding design factor. When the two additional panels are closed, the twice-folding display is a little tablet; however, when the other panels are opened, the canvas is larger and wider. On this form factor, it was predicted that Flex Mode may manifest as a keyboard/kickstand.

Obviously, other than Samsung showcasing concepts, none of this has been implemented yet. Samsung presented a working design with that identical double-folding form factor at CES 2022 .

Although it hasn’t been confirmed, this looks like a fair bet for the Samsung foldable Android tablet since it’s the most practical way to incorporate a folding screen on a tablet at the moment. If Samsung does indeed release this gadget early next year, it will undoubtedly be interesting to see how things turn out in either scenario.

On August 10, Samsung will formally introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, its newest foldable smartphones. Reservations are currently being accepted for both on Samsungs website phones with up to $200 in bonus credits.
