According to Alphabet, its Q2 2022 revenue was $69.7 billion.

Today, Alphabet revealed that Q2 2022 earnings generated $69.7 billion in revenue. These figures span the months of April to June, and the fiscal year is already well under way.

With operating income at $19.45 billion and net income of $16 billion for this quarter (against $18.5 billion a year earlier), revenue is up 13% from $61.9 billion in Q2 2021. Alphabet reported $68.01 billion in revenue and $16.44 billion in net income during the previous quarter, for comparison.

Our performance in the second quarter was primarily driven by Search and Cloud. Our long-term efforts in artificial intelligence and computers have helped to significantly increase the value of our services for customers and the efficiency of businesses of all sizes. We’ll keep making long-term, responsible investments in deep computer science as we narrow our emphasis.

Our strong performance in the second quarter, with revenues of $69.7 billion in the quarter, up 13% versus last year or 16% on a constant currency basis, reflects our sustained investments to support long-term growth. We are concentrating on prudent capital allocation to enhance our growth prospects.

YouTube reported $7.34 billion in Q2 2022 ad revenue (up from $7 billion in Q2 2021), whereas Cloud reported $6.28 billion (up from $4.6 billion in Q2 2021).

Google’s non-advertising YouTube, Play Store, and hardware revenues totaled $6.55 billion, up from $6.6 billion in the same quarter last year.

Other Bets keeps incurring losses. However, it recorded $193 million in revenue in Q2 2021, up from $192 million. But compared to $1.4 billion in the same quarter last year, it lost $1.69 billion.
