A dynamic Bitmoji watch face is added to Wear OS, only available in Wear OS 3.

Google has today launched the Bitmoji for Wear OS watch face, which is available right now for Wear OS smartwatches, ahead of the release of its own Pixel Watch.

Bitmoji for Wear OS is made available by Facer, which is renowned for its sizable collection of watch faces accessible on Wear OS and Tizen smartwatches.

The brand-new Bitmoji watch face for Wear OS is a dynamic watch face that makes use of your own avatar, which you use on Gboard, Snapchat, and the Bitmoji app.

Once installed, your Wear OS Bitmoji avatar will dynamically animate based on the situation. Based on fitness sensors, the avatar responds to the time of day, the weather, and your activity. The avatar’s appearance and behavior will adapt to these circumstances.

Google clarifies:

Your Wear OS watch face will soon include Bitmoji to improve your mood throughout the day. You may transfer your customized Bitmoji to your watch after creating your own personal avatar on Snapchat, Bitmoji.com, or the and installing the. Your Bitmoji will then vary its expressions based on the time of day, the weather, and your physical activity.

What’s the problem? This brand-new Bitmoji watch face for Wear OS now seems to be limited to Wear OS 3 smartwatches.

It’s unclear if there are any plans to add the watch face to earlier platforms. However, current models like the 2020s Moto 360 and the Fossil Gen 6 are listed as incompatible in our testing thus far. The Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series, meanwhile, are both described as compatible. Possibly compatible is the Montblanc Summit 3.

The program is listed as needing Android 11 and higher in the Play Store, which is the version Wear OS 3 is built on.
Google has also formally announced support for Keeps new Tiles, which we first reported on last week, along with this new watch face.
