Samsung’s 2022 smartwatches were leaked in full splendour one month before the anticipated launch. High-resolution 3D turntable renders of both the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro are included, showcasing their designs from all sides. Evan Blass, a prominent leaker, provided the comes leak.
THE GALAXY WATCH 5 SERIES IS SHOWN IN GREAT DETAIL IN A MASSIVE LEAK There are a lot of lessons to learn from this leak. However, it primarily serves to indicate the sad demise of Samsung’s distinctive rotating bezel. The brand has already included the beloved real bezel ring on at least one model. Both Galaxy Watch 5 models will be devoid of it, though. Although Samsung is supposedly doing this to make place for larger batteries, it is frustrating.
Speaking of large batteries, the Galaxy Watch 5 devices, especially the Pro, appear to be pretty hefty. This model, known as Project X, is rumored to include a large 572mAh battery with a 46mm dial. The screen is a tiny bit sunken and has increased bezels. The wearable is available in titanium’s black and gray colors. The straps incorporate a contemporary touch while adhering to the traditional watch design language.

While without a recessed screen and being slightly less bulky is the standard Galaxy Watch 5. The display is flush with the bezel, which brings to mind the previous generation of Samsung Active watches. Samsung intends to make this device available in a variety of hues, including blue, pink gold, silver, and black. But its watch strap appears to be less expensive.
This model, with the codename “Heart,” will be offered in two sizes: 40mm and 44mm (these renders show the latter). According to reports, the two variations will have batteries with rated capacities of 276mAh and 397mAh, respectively. The rest of the design aesthetic is largely identical to that of the Pro model. On the right side, there are two physical buttons, with the upper one being highlighted in red. The typical sensors and coils for heart rate monitoring, wireless charging, and other functions are present on the back.
The circular OLED panels on the Galaxy Watch 5 versions will all be protected by Gorilla Glass. Additionally, a Sapphire glass version of the Pro model is being rumored. They will all run Wear OS 3.5 with Samsung’s One UI Watch 4.5 on top and have an IP68 grade for dust and water resistance. The company will also provide LTE cellular connectivity options for the watches.
