photo(AFP/File) - Pilot Andre Borschberg gives a thumb up prior to take off onboard experimental aircraft Solar Impulse from Payerne's Swiss airbase -- on the first attempt to fly around the clock fuelled by nothing but the energy of the sun. With no automatic pilot, Borschberg needs to remain permanently alert for up to 25 hours at a stretch.(AFP/File/Fabrice Coffrini)
